TINDER CONCEPT

Gen Z is essential for Tinder’s growth but Tinder isn’t essential for Gen Z’s growth. In this project, I was challenged to target Gen Z by positioning Tinder as an essential app to download once you turn 18. By tapping into the nostalgic game “Two Truths and a Lie”, the consumer is reminded that Tinder is downloaded for a reason. That reason is to meet new people, share new experiences and ultimately find your people. So, next time to download tinder… was it really just as a joke?

I created essentially a paper version of a tinder profile and asked friends to fill them out. Are their stories real or fake? The world may never know… 
In collaboration with “We’re not really strangers”, Tinder will create an extension pack that includes questions that challenge Tinder users to dig deeper into their conversations.
This extension pack will be offered in physical form as well as digital form.
Users that download the free digital pack are able to digitally send a question card to any of their matches in order to fuel conversation.
